I still live from paycheck to paycheck, even though I have a full-time job and make a somewhat decent living. I think the problem is that the everyday expenses of living are constantly on the rise but my hourly wage is not. Because of this difficult s

ituation, I decided to look into how to become a secret shopper about eight months ago. At that time, I wasn't sure exactly what a secret shopper actually does so I did some research. I found a ton of sites on how exactly I could become one on a short amount of time.

The majority of the websites I found offered advice on how to become successful on this career. However, they explained that the best way to become a secret shopper was to pay a small fee to register for a service. This service is supposed to help me find reputable companies that want people to secret shop for them. Of course, I was a bit skeptical about paying a fee in order to become a secret shopper and earn some extra cash.

I decided that it might be better to first compare a few sites and even read some opinions on what sites are worth the money. I can't remember exactly how much my fee was but I?m sure that it was not more than thirty dollars. I then had to register on each and every comp

any site that was available to me once I had decided to pay my fee and become a secret shopper. I have to say that the entire process was a huge nuisance because it took an entire day.

It became apparent that they thought that I live in the middle of nowhere because not too many companies had anything that was available to me. Only a couple of companies offered me anything and the shops they were offering were not exactly what I had in mind. I had read the promises of shopping in clothing stores and malls and being able to keep the merchandise. However, that wasn't happening in my case.

It seemed that my brilliant plan to become a secret shopper wasn't working out the way I'd imagined. There are some major department stores and lots of businesses nearby, even if I do live in a rural area. Fortunately, I had a few chances to eat some meals in one of my favorite restaurants and got reimbursed for the meal.

A free meal is always worthwhile to me, even if I didn't earn any money on top of the reimbursements. I managed to earn a small amount of extra spending money by secret shopping. However, my decision to become a secret shopper was not worthwhile because of the gas prices these days and the small amounts of shopping jobs I received.
