Financial Freedom Has Its Price

"There is no success without hardship." Sophocles

For those of you that are starting (or thinking about) a home-based-business, there are some basic truths that you're not going to hear from the people that are trying to recruit you for T
HEIR program.

First, you will have to make some sacrifices. You will have to devote time, energy, and even money to get any business off the ground. So many recruiters will tell you "anyone can do it" - and they're right. The problem is that so many "opportunities" are misrepresented that the fallout rate is enormous.

You will have to give up some of your precious time to build any business. That means less time doing the things you enjoy, less time with your friends and family. This will create some level of hardship, and even possibly some resentment. You need to be prepared to deal with the consequences.

You will have to find the energy to do the things that are necessary to create financial freedom. All of us have other commitments that leave us worn out at the end of the day, whether it's a job, the family, household duties, or whatever. You need to develop the drive to succeed, and remind yourself constantly that it will all be worth it in
the long run.

Building any business will require some financial sacrifices. There are ways to lessen the impact, even eliminate it altogether, but you need to face the fact that you'll need to spend some money to get things rolling.

The trick is to view these things in a positive light. Think of the sacrifices you're making as in investment in yourself, your future, and your freedom. Don't be overwhelmed by your initial failures. Unless you happen to jump into exactly the right thing on your first attempt, you're going to fall flat on your face a couple of times. It has happened to the best of us; the trick is to get right back up and keep going. Learn from your failures, and don't let them defeat you.

Success is out there, waiting for you to grab it. There are times when you'll have to grit your teeth, ignore all the negative input, and simply press on. Easier said than done, I realize, but it is the road all of us have traveled. The journey is worth much more than the price you'll pay.
