out on the road, you also have the advantage of the RV support system. There is a strong RV support system in the country with campgrounds, parks and mechanics just about everywhere.

On the con side, fuel prices are definitely something you have to take into account these days. An RV is a large, inefficient fuel vehicle. Given the price per gallon for fuel these days, you need to be ready to expend some serious cash on your trip.

Another con can be storage. Larger RVs are big and storing them on the street in front of your house is often a good way to get in trouble with neighbors. Fortunately, there are RV storage facilities in most cities, but you need to account for the costs. They can be significant, so make sure to get a quote before you buy.

At the end of the day, buying a RV is a great step to road trip freedom so long as you know what you are getting into.
