Symptoms

f breast cancer are at increased risk for developing breast cancer in the other breast.
9. There have suggestions that smoking, alcohol intake, and oral contraceptive pill too slightly increase chances of get­ting breast cancer.

Treatment

Studies say that three-quarters of breast cancers are detected by women or their partners, but 20 to 30 percent of these women wait 3 months or longer before seeing a doctor. If you have a problem, ignoring lump may mean death. There is no quick cure. From the growth of the first abnormal cell to the end of treatment, it is a long, hard road.

The National Cancer Institute and U.S. Department of Health and Human Services recommend that women in their forties have mammograms every 1 or 2 years. A complete early detection plan includes regular breast examination by trained medical professional. Monthly self-exams are suggested in addition to it.
