A Review of AOL for BroadbandYou may receive an offer for AOL for broadband if you are switching from dialup Internet service, and already use AOL. This is something many AOL users do because they don?t want to lose the AOL email address that they may have been using for years. HI signed up for a free trial with AOL dialup before I decided that I?d rather have DSL or cable Internet on the last time I moved to another city. The trial was fine, but I had a hard time getting out of it once I decided to go another way. Although I repeatedly said that I didn?t need it, they still hounded me to purchases AOL for broadband. Paying for it was an extra cost above and beyond what I needed to pay for my Internet service. The more they tried, the more I said no. I have to hand it to them though, because they are good at what they do. I also realize that the person I was talking to was only doing her job. They want to get and keep all the customers they can because the competition for Internet dollar is fierce. They finally listened to me because I wasn?t convinced that I needed to pay an extra five dollars a month just to have AOL for broadband. You will be able to make a decision more easily if you have spent time with AOL. You may not want to get AOL for broadband if you have not had a pleasant experience with them on dialup. You should ask them for a deal if you want to stay with them. They may give you what you want to keep you as a customer. AOL for broadband will have its good points and its bad points just like any other product. The final decision you make should be about service and price.
