In one study conducted by the Air and Waste Management Association, bacteria were reduced by 80% with a combination HEPA and germicidal UV lamp. While there are many advantages to this method, wisdom needs to be used as to what brand or type of UV air purifier to purchase, as there are several available. Yet, with the right research and motivation, a good and sound decision can be made in order to enhance not only the quality of the air you breathe, but overall health as well.
