The multi-cultural feel to the city center with it's international cuisine sure to suit all tastes. The historical old part of town with it's 500 year-old buildings and cobbled streets - walked by millions over the years. Climb the stairways of the Freiburg Minster C You can easily spend days visiting the museums in the city center. And please do not under any circumstances miss the cable car ride across the Schauinsland hills. The 20 minute ride will take you high above the Black Forest woodlands leaving all aboard astounded by the dramatic panoramas. Take fascinating day trips from Freiburg. We?re just a half hour from France and Switzerland, and an hour and a half from the Swiss Alps! That list is just what I came up with in two minutes. What could I write in an hour! Of course it?s very easy for me to pick out the main points Freiburg has to offer since I live here. For the tourist who decides to stay one or two weeks the highlights are not so obvious. You?ll find it?s simply impossible to do all you?ll want to do in such a short time. And if you don?t end up moving here you?ll certainly want to come back. So if you?re planning a European vacation be sure to visit us here in friendly Freiburg. The only thing you?ll regret will be the end of your vacation.
