Handbags - Fake or Real?

Handbags – Real or Fake?

By Richard Rinyai

Have you ever searched through the “Net” for handbags, wallets and other accessories?  You see the stylish brand names and others that you have never heard of, but which is the better sell?

How can you be sure if the real ones are not rip-offs?  How can you trust the so-called “Replicas” are indeed from genuine stores?  Of course, you will pay a fortune for the brand name items, which some people can afford.  The site may state that the item has leather, but then you have to ask yourself, "What parts and how much of it is real?" What grade is it?  Keep in mind that 33% of the population of the world holds 77% of the money in the world.

My wife has purchased quite a few bags online and let me tell you, the prices were cheap.  However, going back onto the same sites a few days later, the site either has disappeared or the language has changed to something other than the one you were reading to begin with.  This really makes a person think, “What happened?  Was this business legitimate to begin with?”

You really have to wonder if it’s worth your money to purchase items from business that are considered fly-by-night, since they might not even ship the item that they promised you.  Of course, you give them your personal information, credit card numbers, etc.  This can lead to some major identity theft.

There are a few ways of checking out if the stores are legit, like checking the Better Business Bureau (BBB) or some sites even have a PayPal verified icon on their site.  This ensures that they have been business for a while and have taken the precautionary measures to make themselves legitimate.

PayPal has been around for many years and eBay has joined forces with them.  As you know, eBay is the largest trading facility online today!

If you are looking to purchase handbags, wallets, or whatever accessory you are looking for, make sure to do some proper research before heading out into the wilderness.  But remember, if you want to get a good deal, you either have to pay a large amount of money for something that is genuine or quite a lot less, for something that is just as good, but without the branding.
